What changes have we seen in the first 100 days of the Trump Administration in U.S. policy in Asia? How have the views of Americans, whether they voted for President Donald Trump or not, affected his stance on Asia? What can we expect going forward?
These are questions that we have, and that you may have, too. To help break this down, we have invited a friend of the ACCJ, Ambassador Robert. M. "Skipp" Orr, to share his insights with us.
Ambassador Orr currently serves on the board of the Council of American Ambassadors, an organization of former political appointee Ambassadors from both sides of the aisle, as well as on the board of the Paacific Forum CSIS. He served as U.S. Ambassador to the Asian Development Bank from 2010 to 2016 and has a longstanding connection to Japan, having been President of Boeing Japan from 2002 to 2007, as well as an ACCJ member and leader during his business tenure in Japan.
You can find more information on Ambassador Orr here.
We hope that you will take the opportunity to join us at this event.
