In the early 21st century, the latest research draws a completely new picture of humanity: we are not a single being but a symbiont, a community being, a microcosm in the macrocosm.
The changes to our evolutionary environment brought on by technological progress has sabotaged the originally highly effective human system. This has led to a tsunami of non-communicable diseases, such as diabetes, dementia,
coronary artery disease, autoimmune diseases, and cancer. According to World Health Organization data from 2018, these diseases kill 40 million people every year. Factors such as solar radiation, nutrition, and environmental pollution play a key role in the problem.
In this lecture, Dr. Jörg Spitz will show the importance of sunlight and vitamin D within the orchestra of natural resources and why they are important for optimum health of body, mind, and soul.
