The ACCJ takes member health and safety seriously and is closely following developments related to the coronavirus. We are in close contact with the U.S. Embassy-Tokyo and will continue to provide updates to members and our community partners in the days and weeks to come.
We are using this page to share regular updates and information in support of ACCJ members during this outbreak. Please check back regularly for updates.
ACCJ Event Cancellations and Registration Refunds in Case of Illness
ACCJ events in February and March are currently scheduled to continue as planned. However, we are asking that members or guests refrain from attending ACCJ events if you meet one of the following conditions:
- have traveled within the last 14 days to an area designated by the CDC with a warning level 3
- have had contact with someone who has within the last 14 days been in an area designated by the CDC with a warning level 3
- feel sick or unwell
If you need to cancel your registration due to one of the reasons listed above and the cancellation deadline has passed, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to have your registration fee waived through the months of February and March.
Please be aware that the ACCJ is absorbing costs related to these cancellations, so if you are aware that you will need to cancel please inform us as soon as possible so we can take appropriate measures.
Surveying Members for Best Practices in Response
Between February 14-17, the ACCJ surveyed member companies to gather information on best practices in response to the Coronavirus.
