SelectUSA Japan x ACCJ HxD Exclusive Pitch Event

The Commercial Service office in Japan and the ACCJ Healthcare x Digital initiative hosted a pitch event for tech startups on April 17 at SmartValue (colormari) in Osaka, attended by U.S. Ambassador Rahm Emanuel and ACCJ President Victor Osumi.

A panel of judges selected Anaut as the winner, for its goal of changing the landscape of surgery with AI precision mapping. You can read more about Anaut and their accomplishment on Nikkei.

The winner received a complimentary registration to attend the 2024 SelectUSA investment accompanied by an invitation letter from SelectUSA Executive Director. The winning startup also received the chance to attend the SelectUSA Investment Summit as a member of the Japan Delegation taking place from June 23 to 26 in National Harbor, Maryland, along with roundtrip flights and accommodation fees covered.

The SelectUSA Investment Summit, hosted by the United States Department of Commerce, is one of the highest profile events in the U.S. and has generated over $98 billion in new investment projects to date.
