Internship Description: Short-Form Video Production Intern
Artyz Inc. is a digital marketing agency located right in the heart of central Tokyo. We have a fun, diverse, and genuinely international team, and we handle social media video production for a wide variety of exciting global and domestic brands.
We are looking for an intern to team up directly with our Lead Video Producer. You won't be stuck in a corner making coffee or left alone to figure things out. Instead, you will be right in the mix, helping us brainstorm ideas, assisting on physical shoots, and working together on the final edit.
Key Responsibilities:
Brainstorming ideas and planning of short-form social media content.
Helping with video shoots.
Editing high-paced 20-to-60-second vertical videos (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).
Working on high-energy cooking videos and visually engaging Japan travel content.
Managing and organizing project files and assets to keep timelines clean.
Applying standard brand preferences (fonts, colors, transitions) to video edits.
Qualifications:
Business-level proficiency in either English or Japanese is mandatory (proficiency in both is highly preferred).
Genuinely loves watching or creating social media content, with a real passion for figuring out what makes a viewer stop scrolling and actually watch.
Foundational experience with non-linear editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
Willingness to transition fully to DaVinci Resolve (we will train you, but using this software is mandatory for the role).
Collaborative mindset with the ability to accept constructive feedback professionally.
Motivation to learn a professional agency workflow.
Preferred:
Basic understanding of camera work or on-set production dynamics.
