Transparency × Effectiveness: Pioneering a New Era of Lobbying-Rethinking the “Dual-Track Model” in Japan

The Good Lobby, an NGO led by Alberto ALEMANNO, operates under the concept of lobbying as a tool for democratizing citizen political participation. In 2023, it released “The Good Lobby Tracker,” aimed at enhancing Corporate Political Responsibility (CPR) by visualizing companies' political footprint (the scale and content of their political activities).

In response, Makaira KK began a business partnership with The Good Lobby in June 2024. Together, they are promoting activities to foster a broader understanding of appropriate public affairs and the importance of governance when engaging in lobbying as a means for social change.
