ACCJ Community Service
The ACCJ supports the communities its members work and live in through charity events, charitable donations, and volunteering.
The ACCJ Community Service Advisory Council (CSAC) has adopted ACCJ's Guiding Principles for Giving, in line with the Core Advocacy Principles and the ACCJ’s mission to further develop commerce between the United States of America and Japan, promote the interests of U.S. companies and members, and improve the international business environment in Japan.

Community Support
The ACCJ is honored to donate ¥3.6 million to charities supporting the local community. The funds were raised thanks to the support of ACCJ members, sponsors, and the community from the 2023 ACCJ Charity Ball.
Hands on Tokyo is collaborating with Peace Boat Disaster Relief Center to provide school kits to 650 children in Suzu City affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake.

Hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan, this fundraiser on April 27 will support the communities impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle and the subsequent flooding across New Zealand.

The 2021 ACCJ Charity Ball raised over ¥9.4 million yen to support local organizations and the community.
Starting from December, Mirai no Mori is holding “Sharing December,” a month-long event where we will introduce you to some unique ways you can get involved as well as exclusive deals for their supporters.
ACCJ donations will help provide support to run the Care Package Project, in which Hands On Tokyo sends monthly packages with daily foods and necessary items.

DONATION REQUEST FORM
CSAC donates to domestic charities targeting smaller, local organizations. Donated funds should, as much as possible, go to the targeted recipient group rather than to fundraising and administrative costs.
CSACでは、原則として、日本各地域の小規模チャリティー団体を対象に寄付活動を行っております。ACCJが寄付した資金は、寄付金集めの活動や事業の経費などではなく、なるべく活動の対象者ご本人様たちの幸福に直接つながるような活動に使って頂きたいと思います。
